You will be responsible for helping to take new products through all stages of design and development from the initial concept generation through to manufacturing.

In return for your talents you will have the chance to work on a wide variety of projects across sectors as diverse as consumer products, medical devices, energy and industrial process control.

You will be hands on from the start and we expect you to get involved in many aspects of our challenging projects. As you grow there will be opportunities to lead projects and build new capabilities in specialist areas.

You will:

• Solve complex technical, design and manufacturing challenges everyday
• Translate client and user needs into innovative concepts and great manufacturing solutions
• Understand and interpret underlying technical challenges
• Be part of concept creation teams
• Create, develop and evaluate concepts
• Design, build and test proof of principle systems or models
• Deliver outstanding results to demanding timescales
• Coordinate field trials and analyse findings
• Present concepts and design solutions in client meetings
